While in architecture school at the University of Texas in the 80s and 90s, Hulett Jones worked for the (now legendary) Cactus Cafe. While there, Hulett designed and hand drew posters and calendars for the venue. When Hulett became aware that the Cactus Cafe was in danger of being closed in 2010, he began creating posters again for them.
