Originally designed by A. Quincy Jones, the design objectives for this Eichler were to better serve the needs of a young growing family. A complete gut and addition, the restrooms and kitchen were all updated and reconfigured. Wherever possible, we uncovered and refreshed existing materials. New radiant heating was installed, which meant fresh concrete floors throughout. The clients desired a sense of playfulness to the remodel. We achieved this through bold color and material that respected the elegance of the original palette.
