This dormitory takes the standard double-loaded corridor and pulls it apart into two bar-shaped structures: one that bends to the contours of the hill, one that follows the grid of the campus. The resulting space between serves as grand circulation, encouraging spontaneous gatherings. Sustainability was a driving factor in the utilization of trellises, materials, massing, and airflow.
